gamer presence · founding access

your squad always knows
when you're on. and what you're playing.

Post your games, your gamertags, your servers, and your play schedule once. Your handle becomes a live answer, not another dead Discord pin: in game right now → it points at where to join you. Offline → it shows exactly when you're back. Squadmates, LFG bots, and AI agents all resolve the same truth — who are /u/, and are /u/ on?

The "who's on tonight?" problem

You just want to play. Coordinating the session is a second job.

Raid night takes five apps

A Discord pin, a signup bot, a group poll, a group chat, and the in-game calendar. Move one session and four of them are now lying to your squad.

Your gamertag is scattered

One name on Steam, another on PSN, a third on Riot, a fourth on Discord. Friends can't find you across platforms — and anyone can pretend to be you on the next one.

"Who's on?" means polling everyone

Presence is trapped inside each launcher. There's no one place — for a friend or a bot — to ask "is my squad online right now, and where do I join?"

User Freshness™

Your presence is published as verified SRV/TXT records under your handle — the same service-discovery machinery game servers already use, pointed at a player. Short TTLs keep DNS answers fresh to within about a minute for most of the internet — and the link your squad actually clicks routes through a live edge, so it's never stale at all.

$ dig +short SRV _playing._tcp.chris.username.md
10 0 25565 mc.chris.username.md.  # ● in game right now → routed to the server

$ dig +short TXT _presence.chris.username.md
"live=true" "game=minecraft" "join=mc.chris.username.md" "party=open" "since=2026-07-20T20:04Z"

# two hours later, session's over — same query, fresh answer:
$ dig +short TXT _presence.chris.username.md
"live=false" "next=raid fri 21:00 EDT" "game=wow" "schedule=username.md/chris/when"

Anything that can do a DNS lookup — a Discord bot, an LFG site, a squadmate's AI assistant — can answer "is /u/chris on right now, and where do I join?" No app install, no platform API keys, no polling five launchers.

And it's yours to gate: presence is opt-in and exactly as coarse as you want. Publish "in game, party open" without publishing which server, what hours you keep, or anything you didn't choose to sign. Streamer-mode by default, not as an afterthought.

How it works

1

Claim your handle

username.md/u/you becomes the one tag in every friends list, Discord bio, and clan roster — the only name you'll ever have to update nowhere.

2

Post your games & schedule once

Your game roster — what you play, your tags on each platform, your servers — plus your play schedule publish as signed TXT records and a human-readable page. Change it in one place; every surface that resolves your handle updates with it.

3

Go online anywhere

Flip your presence with one call — API, dashboard, or (coming) rich-presence bridges that flip it for you when you launch a game. Your click-through link updates instantly; DNS answers roll over from "next: raid friday" to "in game: right now" within about a minute as caches expire (some resolvers hold on longer — that's DNS, and we won't pretend otherwise).

4

Your squad & their bots resolve you

The same link routes by reality: in game → where to join you. Online but in a lobby → your party invite. Offline → your schedule and roster. Your squad's tools can finally subscribe to you, not to five launchers.

Presence-gated failover, in plain terms

  1. 1 → In a match? Handle resolves to your join/spectate link.
  2. 2 → Online, in a lobby? Handle resolves to your party invite instead.
  3. 3 → Fully offline? Handle resolves to your schedule — "raid friday 21:00 EDT" — and your game roster.

You define the chain. Presence decides which link in it answers. Nobody lands on a dead "offline" profile again.

Free to start. Paid where it counts.
