One Handle. Now Make it Yours.

Claim username.md/you — a single page and address for everything you are online. People can read it. Apps and AI agents can verify it. You own it.

username.md/

Founding access: $9 reserves your handle today. The profile API, signed responses, and Bluesky binding are live now; full refund if we don't ship the rest by 2026-09-30.

The problem

Your name is doing a lot of jobs. Badly.

Your name is scattered

A dozen profiles, a different link list in every bio, an email per platform. When something changes, you update it everywhere — or, more likely, you don't.

Nothing proves it's you

Anyone can make a page that says it's you. username.md is the one that can prove it — every answer your handle gives is cryptographically signed.

The web's new visitors are agents

More and more of what visits the web isn't a person — it's software acting for a person. Those agents need one address where they can look you up and trust the answer.

This is a handle. One command, one verified answer.

$ curl -L username.md/chris

{
"username": "chris",
"did": "did:web:chrisbergeron.com",
"github": "github.com/chrisbergeron",
"atproto": "@chris.username.md",
"email": "[email protected]", // forwards to his inbox
"signature": "ed25519 ✓ verifiable"
}

Browsers get a page. Programs get JSON, Markdown, or a signed bundle — same name, same truth. Look up a live handle →

How it works

Claim it once. Use it everywhere.

1

Claim

Pick a handle (5+ characters, $9 one-time). Your page goes live at username.md/you, and [email protected] starts forwarding to the inbox you already use.

2

Verify

Prove a domain with a DNS record, bind your Bluesky account so @you.username.md resolves across the network, or import your old Keybase proofs. Each check becomes a signed claim anyone can verify.

3

Connect

Put the one link in every bio, signature, and README. Change a link once and everyone who looks you up gets the new answer.

4

Use

People visit the page. Apps fetch JSON. AI agents read Markdown, check the signature, and follow your rules for how you want to be contacted.

Why trust it

Don't take our word for it. Check the math.

Signed responses

Every answer is Ed25519-signed per RFC 9421, against public keys anyone can fetch. Verify it yourself →

Open standards

did:web, W3C Verifiable Credentials, RFC 9421 — open formats over plain HTTPS. No walled garden, including ours.

Open API

Reads are free, no signup, fully documented — one URL that answers as HTML, JSON, or Markdown depending on what asks.

Refund promise, in writing

Full refund if we don't ship by 2026-09-30. We mean it.
